Graduate School Graduations
- Mikayla Eubanks ‘21 completed a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at the University of South Alabama.
- Taylor Hughes ‘15 completed a master’s degree of education in comprehensive science at the University of West Alabama.
- Karen Johnson Moorer ‘12 graduated with Advanced Certification in Teaching ELA 7-12 from The City College of New York.
- Jimbo Turk ‘15 completed a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of West Florida.
Retirements/Promotions/Honors/General News
- Vinson Brandley ‘10 was promoted to Assistant Principal at Accel Academy.
- Claire Bridges ‘11 co-authored a textbook chapter with Dr. Melissa Pangelinan titled “Motor Behavior and Cerebral Palsy” for Disability and Motor Behavior: A Handbook of Research. It was published in November 2023.
- Seth Currie ‘13 was promoted to School Administrator for the Pensacola Learning Academy.
- Lane Davis ‘03, after serving three wonderful years on the faculty at Huntingdon College, Lane and his family have relocated to Indianapolis, IN where he has been appointed to serve as Assistant Professor of Church History and United Methodist Studies/Director of United Methodist Studies at Christian Theological Seminary.
- Brianna Lincoln Gray ‘20 was named Teacher of the Year and promoted to Curriculum Director for Ascension Day School.
- Jessi Andrews Hayes ‘13 was recognized as River Region Parents Magazine teacher of the month in February 2024.
- Daisha Henderson ‘17 was promoted to Assistant Principal for Pike Road Elementary School in Pike Road, Alabama.
- Andy Meadow ‘90 is currently serving as the president of the National Association of State Directors of Arts Education (NASDAE).
- Nick Sheppar ‘13, a sponsored project analyst in the University of South Alabama’s Office of Research and Economic Development, has been selected to the Society of Research Administrators International’s Future of the Field’ program.
- Logan Smith ‘15 was named the 2024 Fairhope High School Teacher of the Year.
- Jeremiah Stone ‘16 was appointed as the Executive Director for Gulf South Territory for Epilepsy Foundation of America.
- John Thornhill ‘06 was promoted to Associate Professor at Life University.
- Victor Wyatt ‘09 began a new position as the General Manager for the Alley Bar, Aviator Bar, Commerce Beerworks and Hiram, a WhiskeyBar with Historical Perspective in Montgomery, AL.

- Wilbur Bernard Hufham, a former member of the Huntingdon Board of Trustees, passed away on July 23, 2024.
- Martha Fultz Long ’68 passed away on July 17, 2024. We extend condolences to her husband, Irl L. Long, Jr. ’66.
- Sherwood Stewart ’50 passed away on July 4, 2024. He was survived by his wife, Annie Tisdale Stewart ’49.
- Glenda Veal Tuttle ‘64 passed away on April 7, 2024.
