Daniels, Jim

Dr. Jim Daniels is a broadly trained plant ecologist who has worked in such disparate places as the montane cloud forests of Costa Rica; the sewers of Philadelphia, Penn.; and in a cutting edge genetics laboratory. With more than 10 years of teaching experience, Dr. Daniels has taught numerous courses, including ecology, population biology, conservation biology, plant morphology and systematics, plant taxonomy, genetics, human anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, quantitative ecology, environmental science, earth science, general biology, botany, and zoology. He was honored with the Dr. and Mrs. John N. Todd III Award for Excellence in Teaching at Huntingdon in 2009.  A native of North Alabama, Dr. Daniels is extremely happy to be in Montgomery … the home of ALAGA Syrup.
